Tanesha Scott joined Benevolent Family Services in 2025 as the Marketing Manager, bringing with her a diverse and dynamic background in marketing for small businesses, real estate, and athletics. Known for her creativity and strategic mindset, Tanesha leverages over two decades of experience to drive brand visibility, community engagement, and organizational growth.

 

She is a licensed real estate broker and REALTOR® in the state of Virginia. Tanesha is an alumna of Old Dominion University, where she earned a B.S. in Physical Education with a concentration in Sport Management in 2007. Tanesha’s unique blend of business acumen and athletic insight has enabled her to thrive across multiple industries.

 

Born in Germany to a German mother and an American father who retired in Newport News after proudly serving 30 years in the U.S. Army. Tanesha is fluent in German and values her multicultural upbringing. She has called Newport News home for over 30 years. A devoted single mother of two, her greatest accomplishments are her children—especially cheering on her son, a Division I football player at the University of North Dakota.
