I have over 35 years’ experience as a nurse and over 22 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner.  I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management to both children and adults. I have practiced in a variety of settings including inpatient, CSB, schools, partial hospitalization, crisis stabilization, mental health IOP, substance use IOP, and outpatient in both Virginia and Pittsburgh.

 

I am known for my ability to listen and having a good knowledge of medical diseases which often complicate mental health illnesses.  I obtained a diploma in nursing from Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA and her BSN and MSN from LaRoche University, Pittsburgh, PA.  I am also certified by the AANP as a Family Nurse Practitioner and certified by the AANC as a Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse.
