Meet Fatina
Fatina Warren is a Clinical Assessor at Benevolent Family Services. Fatina has been working with Benevolent Family Services since 2020. Fatina believes that Clinical Assessments are important in the field of Mental Health because it is the foundation to helping individuals who are in crisis, and it identifies issues precisely to enable high quality care that is safe, effective, efficient, timely, equitable, and person-centered.
Fatina believes in providing high quality care to individuals because it is the principal route to reducing adverse events, including those that lead to psychiatric hospitalization. In addition to providing Clinical Assessments, Fatina has a background of eighteen years of experience of working with children and adults providing Mental Health Skill Building, Intensive In-Home Services, running psychosocial and substance use groups to assist the public in preventing psychiatric hospitalization, access to community resources, maintaining stability in the home and community, and prevention of removal from the home to include jail.
In addition to having clinical knowledge and skills she is a certified CPR instructor, Licensed Mental Health Resident, and Outpatient Therapist. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 2007, a Master of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice in 2011 from Norfolk State University, and a Master of Social Work Degree in 2018 from Norfolk State University. She strives to achieve quality service to individuals we work with and is working toward licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Fatina joined the field of Social Work because of the love to help others who are in need and wanting to make the world a better place for our youth and adults in the community.
